The Teku Glass by Rastal is a stylish, universal tasting glass for gourmet and craft beers enjoyed by beer tasting professionals and beer enthusiasts alike.
- The TEKU glass was created in a collaborative partnership between Italy’s cult brewer Teo Musso and Kuaska, aka Lorenzo Dabove, the famous Italian beer sommelier.
- The glass was designed with an unusual curvature and an upward-widening, yet straight-lined rim area that synergize with each other, allowing each beer to fully unfold its unique wealth of aromas.
- Manufactured by RASTAL, a German company, one of the largest designers/ manufactures in the beer glassware industry
- This is the newest glass – the TEKU 3.0 – launched in 2015. I really like the updated model, as they’ve added a nice etching of the name “TEKU” on the bottom of the glass. Also, previously the TEKU had a seam running up stem of the glass, which is now polished out on the 3.0.
- Measures 7.75″ H x 3.75″ W, 14.2oz capacity
- I love this glass for sharing new beers with friends, because it provides a really nice presentation. Why put a $12 beer into cheap glassware?!
- The TEKU is big enough hold a full 12 oz beer, however this glass is best balanced (feels good in the hand) when you put half a beer inside. At first I thought I would not like this, but actually it’s a fun glass to pour beer into. Plus many times I am sharing a beer.
- Dishwasher Safe! I treat them like any other glass – not so fragile.
- The TEKU is stronger and more durable than I had expected. Some people are afraid they’ll break this glass, however it’s quite strong. There are many look-a-likes out there which tend to break easily, but RASTAL has really gone all-in to make this glass truly one-of-a-kind.
- Price ranges from $10 to $30 per glass, depending on where you buy. The cheapest I can find these is on Amazon.
